Kate Walters is English painter living and working in West Cornwall. She initially studied at the School of Fine Arts in Brighton. Once graduated, she began working as a professor of art, before pursuing a degree at University College Falmouth. She primarily  uses watercolors, acrylics and oil paint to explore the fields of interaction between animal, man, dreams and nature. Her work is very inspired by Shamanism, an inspiration that structurates her practice. Kate has been awarded on numerous occasions by the Art Council and exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2015. In 2000, Kate Walters became a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists. Works have been exhibited internationally and are in collections worldwide.
