Anima Mundi were delighted to be included in Jonathan Jones’ ’10 of the best Hidden Gem Art Galleries’ in The Guardian alongside Salisbury Cathedral, Laing Art Gallery, The Wallace Collection, Ferens Art Gallery, The Pier Arts Centre, Mostyn, Walker Art Gallery, The Modern Institute and Petworth House.

In a short list dominated by public art galleries we consider it a huge honour and significant recognition for the work that we and our artists put in. Jones said "From Tate St Ives to Barbara Hepworth’s studio, the place is a seaside monument to a lost era of British modernism. But Anima Mundi adds a welcome contemporary twist. Its vibrant programme...brings St Ives out of the mid 20th century into the 21st.”
